Heidi Watney, born May 19 1981 was an American sportscaster from the US. [1] She was an National Merit Scholar, and she was a student at the University of San Diego as an academic scholarship. In 2003 she graduated with top distinction. 2 Watney has been a contestant in the Miss California USA pageant, where she was the first second-place finisher in 2002. Watney began her job at KMPH-TV (FOX 26), Fresno, in September 2003. Watney started her career as an early morning traffic reporter then she was promoted to a anchoring the weekend in 2005 before becoming a sports reporter on weekdays. She moved to Massachusetts in 2008, and started working for New England Sports Network. She was Boston Red Sox's gameday reporter. Watney hosted the Ultimate Red Sox Show as and Red Sox Report. Watney began her career at Time Warner Cable SportsNet, working as a reporter at LA Galaxy. But, she was hired by MLB Network in November 2012 which she stayed with for nine years.
