KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born the 24th of April, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas. Clarkson is an American musician, singer and TV star. As of 2002, she took home the American Idol talent contest. Clarkson was born at Burleson Texas (a suburb of Fort Worth), where her singing abilities were first recognized by her seventh grade music teacher. When she graduated from high school, Clarkson was sent on a trip to Los Angeles to try to get into the business world. Returning in Texas in 2002, the singer competed on the The Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol. This singing contest allowed the audience to choose their top performer. Fans were amazed by Clarkson's captivating performance, charisma, and sense of humour. Clarkson took home $1 million as well as a recording contract in partnership with RCA to be her reward.
