Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) she is an English singer/songwriter. She gained the attention of the world in 2010 through her hits "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses" British vocalist Ellie Goulding rapidly rose to the top of the charts due to her energetic electronic pop. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. With her unique soprano warble and knack of writing captivating, yet emotional music, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap is at the top of the current mainstream and artistic, non-conformist pop.Goulding was soon moving from blogging to printed media, garnering the attention of mainstream magazines like The Guardian and fielding offers from record labels. In the end, she signed a major-label contract for her label Polydor Records and began making arrangements to launch her debut album.
