Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
After being inspired initially through the shadows she saw on the grass of trees, she worked for months in developing a process that does not portray the object in a 2D picture. The subject instead transforms into a representation of the subject, where the surface is the vehicle for its personal interpretation by painting, particularly in the case of living or perishable items for example, like humans or fruits. Alexa Meade's work is ephemeral however the photograph is what remains. Both the painting and photographic methods are tightly interwoven that the end result is a flat, two dimensional space which is able to achieve trompe l'oeil. The third dimension is only visible in certain areas that are close to the eyes or hair. Meade will sometimes integrate her painting into the three-dimensional surroundings around it that allows the model to be a part of the context of their own. The line that separates photography and painting is dissolved.
