Coleman is from Lancashire. She attended Arnold School Blackpool, where she scored straight A's for A-levels. While discussing her Emmerdale appearance Coleman acknowledged regrets not going to University. Coleman when she was still at High School, was a member of the theatre company In Yer Space. They staged the play Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. A prize was given to her for the show, and the production was received well. Coleman won the Emmerdale part of Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with drama schools. Coleman was nominated twice in 2007. The award was for The Best Newcomer in the British Soap Awards and Most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. In 2009 she won nominations for two categories which included Best Actress-Sexiest Women and Best Performance Dramatic. Coleman won a TV Choice Award nomination in the category of Best Actress. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March 2012 press conference that Coleman will be Matt Smith's character following the departure of Karen Gillan left. Moffat picked her for the role due to how well she could work with Smith and also because she spoke faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her involvement in the field of film since 1987. But she's had a greater presence on television rather than in movies. Eva is best known for her roles in the role of Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children and as the detective Natalia Boa Vistas in CSI Miami. The actress was nominated the two "Daytime Emmys" in the role she played as well as having the an opportunity to explore her artistic talents. Eva as well as being an actress is also a philanthropist, businesswoman and entrepreneur. Eva has three husbands and one child born from the third.
